Mansion In May:
2014

Originally a men’s library, this grand room was converted into a reading room, lounge, and office space for the Mansions in May 2014 Fund Raiser that I worked on as part of Funhouse with my partner.

Since the room was so large, we decided to break it down into sections. The center of the room was dedicated to conversations, entertaining and comfort. We included lots of plush seating, a coffee table and loads of interesting objects to look at and touch such as a standing acrylic globe. The back of the room was the desk and bar area – with loads of books and shelving and a large floor-to-ceiling window. I focused on the window treatments, fabric, art selections and floor plan while my partner worked on the bookshelves and accessories.
