This was a project for a long-time friend who was relocating his custom home theater business. I was very fond of this company and the services it offered, and wanted this to be evident in the re-design.

To begin, I created the front room in a fun home setting with a comfy upholstered sofa, a wood-paneled coffee table, and swivel chairs so that customers could feel at home while watching TV. To add a modern twist, I used three large rectangular carpet tiles on the wall in shades of gray to demonstrate color and texture options in a sound proof fabric. The carpet tiles also doubled as minimalist art for the walls.

The front room flows into the movie theater room. Pushing the client’s traditional boundaries, I painted the walls navy and accented the room with a wonderful grass-like fabric that I also used on the theater seats. The finishing touches included a state-of-the-art sound system and trendy lighting. This is a must-see if you’re ever in the market for a custom home theater or media room!
