Starting Out:
Transitional Elegance

I call this project “Transitional Elegance” because this is a story about a younger couple living in a house meant for older folks. Their stodgy old house had dark colors on the walls and gave off a depressing aura that didn’t reflect the energy of this vibrant, young couple. My goal was to transition their house into a home that reflected their true personalities.

I was asked to remodel the space including the kitchen, the butler’s pantry and family room turning it into a fun, yet elegant living space with lots funky modern touches for a young couple to enjoy!

Find The House Candy:

  • No-Fuss Kitchen Counter Stools
  • Beautiful Subway Tile Backsplash
  • Fun Abstract Art
  • Custom-Made Urn Lamp
  • Zebra-Striped Ottoman Pair
  • Gold-Studded Blue-Suede Armchair Detail
  • Antique Chairs Reupholstered
  • A Simple Glass Vase with Flowers

They were so pleased with my work that they eventually asked me to re-design their office, foyer and outside living area.

"Jennifer helped us turn our current home into the beautiful space we had always desired but failed with two previous decorators. Jennifer is smart, hard-working and reliable. Jennifer is honest and fun to be around, which made the process more enjoyable!

My husband and I trusted her expertise and she made the process easy by not overwhelming us with a million little decisions. She did much of the work prior to our meetings and was prepared to get selections made in a seamless matter."
